At Hillside College Lubani, four learners registered to take ICT in their UCE examinations in 2022. The following year, that figure rose to fourteen and later reached twenty candidates.
Access changed what learners considered possible
A computer became a tool learners could touch, understand and choose to study. The figures do not suggest that one intervention solved every barrier. They show that practical access can help interest grow and give a school stronger reason to invest in the subject.
